70th Anniversary

Founded in 1939, the Mount Union Chamber of Commerce has been serving area merchants and residents for the past 70 years!  More importantly, we are just getting started.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all past and current members for their unwavering loyalty ... and we look forward to another 70 productive years!

Once known as the Silica Brick Capital of the World, Mount Union is in Huntingdon County ... in the South-Central region of the Keystone State.

We are located:

• at the junction of Routes 22 and 522
• along the mainline of the Pennsylvania Railroad
• on the northern terminus of the historic East Broad Top Railroad
• along the Juniata River and the former Pennsylvania Canal
• three miles from the Agape Farm, site of the Creation Festivals
• six miles from Swigart Antique Auto Museum
• 15 miles from Raystown Lake

To encourage, develop, establish, promote and perpetuate a healthy environment within the Mount Union Area, which will aid in the growth of business and the mutual well-being of all area citizens. 

The MUACOC was established in 1939.
